US air strikes target several cities across Yemen
The United States military has struck a number of cities in Yemen, including the capital, Sanaa, and the key port city of Hodeidah. Forces from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the military command responsible for US forces in the Middle East, "conducted strikes on 15 Houthi targets in Iranian-backed Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen today", it said on X on Friday. Four strikes targeted Sanaa and seven hit Hodeidah, according to the Houthi-run Al Masirah TV network. Correspondents with the AFP news agency also reported hearing loud explosions in both cities. The Hodeidah strikes hit the airport and the Katheib area, which has a Houthi-controlled military base, Al Masirah said.

US, UK-led airstrikes over the weekend destroyed, damaged 17 Houthi targets: DOD
A series of airstrikes carried out by the United States and the United Kingdom on Saturday destroyed or damaged 17 of 18 Houthi targets in Yemen, Department of Defense (DoD) officials told Fox News on Tuesday. The targets included underground weapons storage facilities, missile storage facilities, one-way attack unmanned aerial systems, air defense systems, radars, and a helicopter, said DoD spokesperson U.S. Army Major Pete Nguyen. The coalition airstrikes targeted Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis, and came days after a British cargo ship was hit by a Houthi missile. "More broadly, since the first coalition strikes on Jan. 11, we assess that we've destroyed or degraded more than 150 missiles and launchers, including anti-ship land attack and surface-to-air missiles, plus numerous communication capabilities, unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned surface vessels, coastal radars, air surveillance capabilities, rotary wing aircraft, underground facilities including weapon storage areas, and command and control buildings," Nguyen said. Gen. Pat Ryder said the strikes have degraded "a significant amount of capability" for the Houthis.

US, UK conduct joint strikes on more than a dozen Houthi targets in Yemen: 'Specifically targeted'
The United States and United Kingdom carried out more than a dozen strikes against Iranian-backed Houthi targets in Yemen on Saturday, with support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands and New Zealand, two U.S. officials told Fox News. The targets were hit successfully and include weapons storage facilities, and drone and missile launchers. The operation hit five Houthi-controlled locations in Yemen and is a response to the near-daily Houthi attacks involving Iranian drones and anti-ship ballistic missiles, a senior U.S. official said. The fourth round of American and British strikes came days after a British cargo ship was hit by a Houthi missile. In a joint statement, the U.S, U.K. and the other allied countries said: "In response to the Houthis' continued attacks against commercial and naval vessels transiting the Red Sea and surrounding waterways, today the militaries of the United States and United Kingdom, with support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, and New Zealand, conducted an additional round of strikes against several targets in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen."
